This blog is basically dedicated to the Panasonic Lumix TZ1. A camera which I have really liked using over the years. And yes, I still use it today. Regardless of the post subject, of which could be anything really, all the images on this blog, unless they are of the TZ1 camera itself, will be taken with the TZ1. This gives anyone thinking of buying a TZ1 [Rare but possible] a good look at the type of results you can expect when just snapping away.

Other than made smaller so the pages don't load too slowly, all the pictures will be unedited by any external software and straight from the camera. I might write about other cameras also, and if any pictures are taken with a camera other than the TZ1, I will label the post or image to point this out.

Successors to the Lumix TZ1


As good as the TZ1 is, it's now a fairly old and outdated digital camera. And while I still use it all the time, part of me thinks I should upgrade. There have been some great advancements in Panasonic camera technology within the last ten years, and I do have my eye on a few of the smaller, newer "street photography" style compact models.

Some of those include: The Panasonic ZS80D | GX85 4K | Lumix G100 | and the somewhat bigger and more expensive Panasonic S5

I'll still be keeping the old TZ1 though, don't worry about that!
